Our DAILY SPECIAL from today’s menu is “Shogun-Asari” caught from Lake Hamanako in Hamamatsu-city.

The word Shogun has the meaning of ‘military dictator’ or the ‘rulers of the country’, who held the absolute power from 12th century to 19th century.

We choose the largest clams from the offshore, in which we express them as “Shogun”.

Today, we will offer this asari clams steamed in Japanese Sake or by Garlic Butter.
